Where do we start?
There are several ways the
GreenPodTM team assists
you during the design, construction and placement of your
GreenPodTM. We're there
to help at every step, from guidance in land selection, to information
on how to obtain traditional financing. Our comprehensive services
include assisting with building code permitting requirements as well
as capitalizing on your property's assets for maximum view and solar
potential.
Once we've gathered all your land information, delivery
assessment, and financing approval, we can help you choose a plan and make
design modifications to suit your needs and budget. Your contractor prepares
an estimate for site preparation, foundations, transportation, and setting
the Pod, as well as making other needed site improvements.
During your design meeting, you select floor plans,
roof styles, materials, appliances, fixtures and finishes. In addition,
we can discuss and explore the incorporation of active and passive solar power.
The next step involves preparing architectural and
engineering drawings for the permitting process. Your contractor prepares
for submittal the foundation, site development and infrastructure drawings.
After permit approval, construction begins on your
GreenPodTM in an enclosed
factory environment, while property improvements required for its delivery
happen at your site.
Next, we coordinate your Pod's delivery to the site
and can oversee and assist your contractor in attaching your
GreenPodTM home to its foundation.
Finally, your contractor completes all connections
necessary to move in.
From our first design meeting to the placement of
your Pod, we estimate that once all the preparatory work is complete,
the actual time to build and deliver your
GreenPodTM could be
as little as 14-16 weeks. |
