What is the Process?
- Financing Package is available on request from several mortgage lenders who specialize in transportable dwellings.
- Retainer to start process. $5000.00 retainer goes toward the purchase price.
- Site evaluation: We note soils, slope, views, setbacks, solar orientation, covenants and other restrictions.
- Customizing your plan to you budget, site and taste: We help you choose your plan and its exterior and interior finishes.
- Contracts, Specifications, Warranty. Legal documentation of construction documents and payment schedules.
- Securing financing and Insurance. We have several banks ready to finance your loan if necessary.
- Building permits: Submission of local building permit application with site plan, foundation plans, drainage. This is an in house service if you choose.
- Building the infrastructure: You are responsible to have power, sewer and water, and access and foundation. We have our contractors available at your request.
- Move completed house to site: The house is slid or placed on its foundation and decks and other options are added.
